Terms of Service
Effective Date: June 15, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of FilePruf, a proof-of-existence service operated by Nekst Co ("we," "us," or "our"). By using FilePruf, you agree to these terms.
1. Service Description
FilePruf creates cryptographic proof records for files by calculating a SHA-256 fingerprint, storing proof metadata, and, where configured, anchoring proof messages through supported blockchain or database destinations.
2. Proofs Are Not Legal Advice
FilePruf provides technical evidence that a specific file hash was recorded at or near a particular time. We do not guarantee that a proof will be accepted by any court, regulator, exchange, blockchain network, or third party. You are responsible for getting independent legal, technical, or evidentiary advice for your use case.
3. Your Responsibilities
- You must use FilePruf only for lawful purposes and only for files you have the right to process.
- You are responsible for retaining the original file, because verification requires matching the original bytes to the recorded hash.
- You must keep account credentials, admin PINs, private keys, and server configuration secrets secure.
- You must not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access controls, overload endpoints, or misuse anchoring providers.
4. Blockchain and Destination Risks
When you choose a public blockchain destination, proof messages, transaction identifiers, fees, confirmation times, and network availability may be controlled by third-party networks outside our control. Public blockchain records may be permanent and publicly visible.
5. Accounts and Administration
You are responsible for activity under your account and for administrative actions performed through the FilePruf interface. We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe an account is being used unlawfully, insecurely, or in a way that may harm the service.
6. Availability and Changes
We aim to operate FilePruf reliably, but the service may be interrupted, changed, limited, or discontinued. We may update features, supported destinations, fees, and these terms as the service evolves.
7. Intellectual Property
FilePruf, its interface, service design, and related materials are owned by Nekst Co or its licensors. You retain any rights you have in your files and content. A proof record does not transfer ownership of any underlying file or intellectual property.
8. Disclaimers
FilePruf is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free verification.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nekst Co will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, failed transactions, delayed confirmations, or evidentiary outcomes arising from your use of FilePruf.
